Contract 002-2025 was awarded to Anchor Contractors and signed November 12, 2025. The Notice to Proceed was issued, and work on the 2025 Roof Project has commenced as of November 25, 2025, with 180 days to complete.

Southwest scholarships
"The Southwest Regional Council NAHRO Scholarship Program provides scholarship opportunities to families that reside in, work with, or who otherwise receive housing benefits from one of the member agencies of the Council. The SWRC NAHRO annually awards scholarships totaling more than $10,000.00. Scholarship awards are available to public housing residents, participants in rental assistance or similar programs, both heads of household and other family members, and children of staff working for a member agency."

"what home means to me" Poster contest - 2026
"As part of its 2026 Housing America campaign, NAHRO will hold a poster contest for children associated with affordable housing and community development programs owned or administered by national NAHRO member agencies. Posters will reflect the national theme of “What Home Means to Me.” The contest is a collaborative effort of NAHRO’s chapter/state, regional, and national organizations. National honorees will be selected from chapter/state-level winning entries. To be eligible for national honors, all entries must come through the local chapter."
